Laguna Beach Tips

Laguna Beach is famous for it's beautiful cliffs, rocky features, and golden sunsets. The city of Laguna requires a per-session $100 photo permit. This is paid by the client, but I will obtain the permit and secure everything on my end!

Laguna also requires some extra effort for parking! Plan to arrive extra early to find parking and walk down to the beach without feeling rushed.

The best timing for photos is during golden hour. Depending on your session length, I typically schedule sessions within the last hour of the day to take advantage of soft, flattering light. During the summer months, when sunsets are later, photographing a couple of hours before sunset is also a great option and often works better for young children’s moods.
